The Barca Way
Barca-Leeds has a history of service innovation, our organisational learning has created a positive and inclusive culture of service delivery.
Even though our teams work across the city in a variety of different settings, they work to a shared service model and principles which include being:
- Trauma-informed
- Focus on assets and not a deficit-based approach
- Motivational, to help people achieve their aspirations
- Whole family approach
- Working in partnership with other agencies because the solutions are usually multi-faceted
-
Barca genuinely value their employees and consider their wellbeing when making decisions that will impact them.

This is a caring organisation and probably the best employer I've worked for in terms of respect for staff.

I have worked for Barca for 30 years starting as a volunteer/parent. I enjoy my job as much now as I did when I first started working as I love working with young people and families and making a difference. I enjoy my work because of my staff team and management who have always made working so enjoyable.
