What we offer
At Barca-Leeds, we provide a wide range of learning and development opportunities for our staff. As a part of the team, you’ll have access to training tailored to your individual role as well as options to join organisation-wide awareness and learning sessions.
New starters
All new staff have a comprehensive induction into their new service and team as well as the organisation. Throughout the induction period, new starters have in-person training alongside a full induction plan for their service which often includes shadowing and introductions/meetings with colleagues from internal Barca teams as well as our external partners.

Ongoing development
All Barca Leeds employees are supported to undertake training and development in their roles.
Our ongoing development opportunities are offered on an individual, service and organisational basis, identified through individual supervision, service developments, legal and regulatory requirements and best practice in the sector.

Student placements
A number of services offer student placements. We work closely with Leeds Further Educational establishments to identify and organise student opportunities directly through these learning establishments.
We are committed to helping students understand the work that we undertake and some of our services are able to attend seminars by invitation. From time to time, we partner with establishments to take part in research or case studies.
