Health and Wellbeing Navigator
What will the role look like?
Health and Wellbeing Navigators will work with adults affected by homelessness who may be in temporary accommodation but still rough sleeping and / or living street-based lives. They may also work with asylum seekers, refugees and people with no recourse to public funds experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness or in temporary accommodation and are rough sleeping. The Navigator in this role will work alongside Barca Housing Navigators, supporting individuals with more complex health needs, providing additional support to people who require intensive input around their health and wellbeing
What we are looking for?
We are looking for candidates with the ability to develop and maintain strong links with healthcare providers across the city, supporting improved access to health services for people experiencing homelessness or housing instability. They will need to have the resilience to work with individuals who may display challenging behaviour. . The role requires building trust and supporting individuals to overcome the barriers they face.
This is a fixed term contract role until 31/03/2028.
