Housing Navigator (street to tenancy)
What will the role look like?
Housing Navigators work in an outreach capacity supporting people who are or have been homeless and have a history of rough sleeping. They work intensively with small caseloads, taking a person-centered approach to build a relationship. Each person is supported to improve their personal and social skills, helping them to build their resilience and enabling them to sustain their tenancy in order to prevent repeat homelessness.
What we are looking for?
We welcome applications from people who can work in a proactive way and apply creative solutions to reduce barriers. We are looking for someone who understands and cares about the needs of the individual and is not easily phased. Building the relationship can be difficult but with your consistent support and being a key point of contact to meet individual needs, we achieve really positive outcomes.
This is a fixed term contract role until 31/03/2028
