Youth Work Lead
What will the role look like?
At an exciting time for youth work in Leeds, we welcome applications for the role of Youth Work Lead. Joining the Barca leadership team, you will have two primary areas of focus: Project coordination of the Leeds Youth Alliance Youth Futures Hub and Barca led commissioned youth work, including co‑production with young people, Hub partnership management, and coordination of the West Hub space. And managing and supporting practice development within Barca’s youth work team.Barca has a range of commissioned and grant funded youth work activites.
This role if fixed term until 31/03/2027 with part time 25 hours working per week.
The salary for this role is- £36,712 - £38,180 pro rata.
What we are looking for?
This role will lead on the implementation of the Leeds Youth Alliance Futures Hub model. Managing a hub building in the west of Leeds which will including delivery of youth work sessions and overseeing partner organisations deliver spoke and outreach support across the East and South of the city. This project includes a building redesign and provides resources to bring innovative youth sessions that support positive wellbeing and thriving futures to young people in Leeds. Alongside delivery of this key project, you will contribute to Barca’s wider youth work portfolio helping to embed strong youth voice and influence practices and supporting the development of Barca’s approach to youth work.
