Community Support Navigator
This is a fixed term contract until September 2027.
What will the role look like?
Barca Community Support Navigators work in an outreach capacity supporting people who are or have been homeless and have a history of rough sleeping. They work intensively with small caseloads, taking a person-centered approach to build a relationship. Navigators work closely with a range of providers spread across various work streams including the local authority, criminal justice systems, health systems, local policing teams and local community networks. They are an integral part of the Safer Leeds Street Outreach Support Team and work in partnership to produce the best outcomes for the people they are working with.
What we are looking for?
We’re looking for a compassionate, resilient, and people‑focused professional who can build trust with individuals facing homelessness and multiple disadvantages, work collaboratively with partners across the city, and provide intensive, trauma‑informed support to help people sustain accommodation, re‑engage with services, and move towards safer, more independent lives.
We are currently hiring for full-time, permanent role with 37-hours per week working hours.
