What will the role look like?
To be part of a small team delivering a healthy living focused social prescribing service. Working with families with a child or young person aged 5-16 living in targeted areas of the city (current target area is West Leeds LS12 and LS13).
The service aims to explore and evaluate the usefulness of social prescription for young people, its impact on health inequalities and it’s building of key relationships. The social prescribers will be largely based at Barca offices although it is expected that some work will be located within partner agency spaces and there is flexibility to meet young people in a range of community, education and home settings.
