Targeted Youth Worker

What will the role look like?
The role will provide support interventions that will support young people struggling to engage with their education and learning. This is a rewarding role, the successful applicant will help deliver group work and one to one support in school or community settings. Managing a caseload and identify the best methods of intervention that will meet the individuals needs using restorative approaches.
The post holder will work closely with internal and external agencies within the area.
What we are looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Targeted Youth Worker, to support young people aged 8-19 years across a variety of settings in West and East Leeds and provide mentoring and intensive support for young people referred to the service focused around emotional and social well-being and reducing risk taking behaviours.
We particularly welcome applications from candidates who identify as male, we are seeking to increase representation within the team.
