  • I began working for Barca in 2017 to join the new Engage Leeds Service amongst others from other organisations. I was worried at first as I had just left a very good team and organisation. However, Barca has made me feel more at home, more comfortable and more supported than I ever have felt before. Our team pulled together to make the service work and as a result we have built a very solid and supportive team which I feel proud to be a part of. We have excellent manager and employee relationships and enjoy regular social activities which improves on our overall wellbeing which Barca promotes.

What we do

Engage Leeds is a city–wide housing support service, assisting the people of Leeds with preventing homelessness, sustaining tenancies and helping to integrate them into the community.

  • Since I started my role as Housing Support Worker with Engage Leeds at Barca, I have had a comprehensive induction and been given a lot of shadowing opportunities, which have helped me to get to know more about my colleague and the job role.
